Sunday morning 9am was the start Round II, Premio Internationale des Fisarmonica Category. There were six players going through to Round II. The rules for this category are:
Cat. PREMIO
for accordion concert-soloists (no age limit) - 2 auditions for Accordion Concert players-Soloists (no age limit) - 2 auditions In the first audition, competitors performing in the PREMIO Cat. for accordion concert layers-soloists will play:
- one harpsichord or organ piece by Johann Sebastian Bach and a programme chosen by the competitor including at least one piece from the original accordion musical literature of the following countries: Italy, France, Spain, Germany, Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Finland. The first audition will last 20 minutes (including the compulsory
piece). Competitors admitted to the second audition will play:
- a programme chosen by the competitor lasting no more than 20 minutes;
- “Aforisma 1” and “Aforisma 2” from “Tre Aforismi” by Domenico Turi for clarinet and accordion. The clarinet player will be provided by the organization.
Competitors in the soloist categories cannot present programs of their choice consisting entirely of transcriptions. Below is the jury

Round II required the contestants to play a test piece "Aforisma 1” and “Aforisma 2” from “Tre Aforismi” by Domenico Turi for clarinet and accordion. Marko Sevarlic performing the test piece.

Final competitor for the morning was Maria Zubimendi (Spain).

Out in the square, the music festival was underway. Kjell Harald Langhaug (Norway) performing.
Enjoying the festival atmosphere were Marco Cinaglia (Roland Europe), Mirco Patarini and Selenia Menghini of Scandalli and Ginaluca Bibiani of Strumenti & Musica Magazine.
Kjell Harald Langhaug (Norway) was then joined by well known Jörgen Sundeqvist (Sweden).
Two very popular entertainers from the UK, Gary Blair and Harry Hussey who were chatting before Harry took the stage. Andrea Ballone Burini and a competitor playing his BB accordion.
Kunio Nakayam and his wife from the Monte Accordion Shop in Nagoya, Japan. Around the town were many nice banners and posters for the event, adding to the festival atmosphere.

Finale Concert and Prize Giving

Chinese contestants enjoyed considerable success at the competitions. Here are some of the Chinese entrants.
Mao Junhao, Wang Hanzhi, Chen Dinghua, Chen Huanhuan and Ma Qi.
Two well known educators and performers, Paulo Jorge Ferreira (Portugal) and Pascal Contet (France) who were jury members. The stage backdrop was really nicely decorated.
   
The left banner up closer used the word accordion in different languages on the black keys signifying some of the many nations participating in the festival. Announcer opened the Finale concert welcoming everyone there and thanking all the sponsors and local government officials for their help.

Category A - Soloists up to the age of 12, 3rd place, Mladen Djokovic (Serbia) presented by Vice-Mayor Sergio Serenelli. Category A, 2nd place, Radovan Ivanovic (Bosnia) presented by Vice-Mayor Sergio Serenelli.
Category A, 1st place, Alessandro Pagliari (Italy) Category B, Soloists up to the age of 15 (born in 1998 onwards), 3rd place, Lorenzo Scolletta (Italy), presented by Aldo Belmonti, President Pro Loco.
Category B, 2nd place, Banjanin Nedeljko (Serbia), presented by Aldo Belmonti, President Pro Loco. Category B, 1st place, Fausto Credidio (Italy), presented by Aldo Belmonti, President Pro Loco.
Kimmo Mattila (left), Secretary General, Confédération Internationale des Accordéonistes (CIA) made a presentation Diplome to the City of Castelfidardo Mayor Mirco Soprani congratulating the City on its 150th Anniversary of Accordion Production. The Mayor also made a presentation to the CIA to honor the cooperation. Category C, Soloists up to the age of 18 (born in 1995 onwards),
3rd place, Eugenio De Rose (Italiy) presented by Assessore Massimiliano Russo.
Category C, 2nd place Sasa Turkulovic (Serbia) presented by Assessore Massimiliano Russo. Category C,1st place winner, Junhao Mao (China) performed.

Category E, 2-15 members accordion chamber music orchestras (no age limit) and chamber music orchestras with accordion and other classical instruments (no more than 15 members - no age limit) or chamber music orchestras with accordion and other instruments including popular and folk music instruments (no more than 15 members - no age limit). 3rd place, Zan Trobas - Tomaz Mocilnik Duo (Slovenia) presented by Claudio Jacomucci (Chairman of the Jury).
Category E, 2nd place, All Libitum Trio (Portugal) presented by Claudio Jacomucci. Category E, 1st place, Jeux D'Anches Duo (Serbia) performed.

Samuele Telari presented the Accordions Worldwide Award by Founder Harley Jones Samuele Telari presented the special award from Klingenthal City which was presented by the Klingenthal Accordion Competitions Director Manfred Gabler.
Special Prize 'Ballone Burini' being presented to Samuele Telari by company director Andrea Ballone Burini. Mayor Mirco Soprani makes a final speech thanking all the people who worked to make the festival such a success and thanking all the people for supporting the event.
After the Finale Concert, people were making their way into the city for the final events of the evening. Below are Manfred Gabler with Holde Gabler (left) and Maria Schneidenbach of Klingenthal. Guests were relaxing after the event.
