 The City Council of Castelfidardo (Marche region, Italy), in collaboration with Castelfidardo Pro Loco Tourist Association, calls and organizes the PIF International Competition “Città di Castelfidardo” reserved for accordion soloists and groups, of classical music and other genres.
The Castelfidardo Municipal Administration is led by Mayor Roberto Ascani, the Castelfidardo Pro Loco headed by Ruben Cittadini, and event Artistic Director Renzo Ruggieri.

Due to the exceptional conditions, it is necessary to restrict the number of applications. We needed many meetings to evaluate a safe and innovative PIF Edition in this difficult year. The COVID-19 pandemic, still ongoing worldwide, does not allow us to foresee what will happen in the upcoming months. Each country applies different restrictions that make all decisions approximate.
In order to guarantee regularity and equality of conditions among the candidates, there will be a SPECIAL EDITION in two phases: SELECTIONS (with online videos) and FINAL.
PIF competitors sent a video before 31 August and the jury expressed their preference (not points) and the most voted make up the list of 50 finalists (in registration order). List of Finalists
Every finalist will stay at home streaming. There will be a technical test a few days before to organise light, position, computer and internet connection. On the day of the audition, the Finalist is contacted to begin with Name, country and program information and then the performance will start and be filmed. This must be a live performance for the video camera.
