| The Government of St. Petersburg sponsor a performance of St. Petersburg singers and folk music ensemble and a reception at the Royal Northern College of Music, Manchester, on Monday April 2nd, 7pm. There will be performances by the Magrigal Quartet: Igor’ Ponomarenko (domra), Maksim Tolstukh (balalaika), Artem Kuznetsov (bayan), and Boris Markelov (double bass); soloists: Anatoly Dichkovsky (baritone), Irina Mkrticheva (soprano), and Anatoly Lomanov (tenor).
