 Victor Prieto holds a master class focusing mainly on the topics of jazz and modern harmony on Saturday July 25th and Sunday July 26th at 5.30pm in Mugares, Ourense, Spain. This class will be for a maximum number of 8 attendees, and taught only in Spanish. The price is 180 Euro (US $250).Subjects: - accompanying (comping), chords open and closed position improvisation (scales for faster results), modern harmonies, chord approach on both hands (technique), classical counterpoint improvisation. - Learn how to comp...(easy way of accompanying) - how to apply all of these to musical styles. - Traditional tango and New Tango, patterns, phrasing (imitating a bandoneon), Celtic music, Brazilian and jazz, and much more. Schedule: 10.30am to 1.30pm, lunch break, 3.30pm to 5.30pm; 10 hours in total. Spanish-born accordionist Victor Prieto, now based in New York, is well known for his jazz performances.
