 The 11th annual international Accordion Festival, February 25th to March 26th, is held at various locations throughout Vienna, including Planet Music and the Porgy and Bess Jazz and Music Club. The festival includes 40 concerts and 19 different stages. A host of accordion stars from around the world will be performing everything from folk to classical, tango and punk.This year's program includes: February 15th, 8pm - Otto Lechner, Karl Hodina and Krzysztof Dobrek (Austria/Poland), Vindobona, Wallensteinplatz 6, Vienna 20th, 8pm – Paul Schuberth (Austria), Lorin Sklamberg and Susan McKeown (USA/Ireland), Bec De Cha, featuring Arnaud Methivier, Pascal Ducourtioux and Jean Hughes Billman (France), Theater Azkent, Theresianumgasse 18 A-1040, Vienna 21st, 1pm – silent films: ‘Sherlock Jr’.
