| Le Prix de Musique d'Accordéon DHV (Deutscher Harmonika-Verband e.V.) 2024 aura lieu à Ettlingen, en Allemagne, du 9 au 12 mai 2024. Le concours est ouvert à la musique solo, duo, de chambre, d'ensemble et d'orchestre dans diverses catégories jusqu'à 27 ans. Des compétitions nationales auront lieu en janvier et février 2024. La date limite pour l'Association nationale de Rhénanie du Nord-Westphalie est le 18 février 2024. | Le duo populaire Foster & Allen a annoncé que sa tournée irlandaise 2023/2024 débutera le 27 décembre 2023 à Mullingar, en Irlande, avec des concerts jusqu'au 15 mars 2024. Mick Foster et Tony Allen ont célébré 40 ans de jeu ensemble en 2015 et ont sorti plus de 30 albums. Voir l'affiche pour les détails du concert. |

| Stas Venglevski se produira au A World of Accordions Museum Harrington Arts Center à Superior, Wisconsin, USA le 15 octobre à 14h. Une partie des bénéfices du concert sera reversée au musée A World of Accordions. Le lendemain, 16 octobre, Stas donnera un atelier gratuit à 14h sur la musique originale pour accordéon. | Vidéo : « Cokiba » est un nouveau duo des musiciens japonais Coba (accordéon) et Jin Oki (guitare flamenco). Le duo interprète son premier single MV « God of Sorrow - Proserpina » où les instruments « s'entrelacent de manière exquise pour créer un son unique ». "Cette œuvre est une composition musicale de Coba pour le duo qui représente l'amour qui apparaît dans la mythologie grecque." Proserpine est le nom latin de la déesse grecque Perséphone, mieux connue comme la déesse du printemps. La vidéo a été tournée sur place au Musée de philosophie Ishikawa Nishida Kitaro à Tsubata, Ishikawa Otemachiyokan. |

 Finnish accordionist/composer Kalle Välimaa has just completed a one year long concert series of music by Johann Sebastian Bach in southern Finland, by playing one, two hour concert of his music every month. The series, entitled 24h Bach, was held from October 9th, 2022 to September 10th, 2023. Concerts took place in churches in Teijo, Turku, Hyvinkää, Kerava, Orimattila, Kouvola, Turenki, Mommila, Artjärvi, Tammela, Virolahti and Ruotsinpyhtää. Performances featured works such as The Well-Tempered Clavier, English, French, German (Partitas) Suites, Goldberg Variations, Inventions and Sinfonias, 16 Concertos, Cello Suites, Violin solo Sonatas and Partitas, some organ works and Chorals from the Four Passions. Kalle Välimaa was a pupil with accordionist Veikko Ahvenainen (1975-1980) and Kimmo Mattila (1980-1985). In Moscow at the Gnesin Academy Kalle Välimaa was a student of Vitaly Muntjan (1985-1991) and Friedrich Lips (1991-1992). For the polyphonic development, Kalle studied orchestral conducting with professor Vladimir Zenovjev (1986-1992). |
