 The Weekly News on Accordions Worldwide began in the last week of October 1996, thanks to the vision of Harley Jones, the website’s founder. Few would disagree that the accordion needs publicity, and by the mid-1990s the Internet was fast becoming a global means of mass communication, accessible to millions. Accordions Worldwide has since 1996 offered free publicity for accordion activities, and endeavours to give the best possible service to accordionists and event promoters everywhere.
