Accordionist Karen Tweed has relocated from England to Roscommon in the Republic of Ireland. As busy as ever, Karen has been doing artwork for fiddle player Kevin Madden’s first CD, and is now teaching the accordion via skype. She also has some international teaching and performing on the horizon. Friday June 12th, 8pm – solo concert at Bishop's Castle Town Hall, Shropshire SY9 5BG, England. Tickets cost £8 in advance or £10 on the door. Saturday June 13th - Piano Accordion Irish Music workshop with Karen Tweed at Bishop's Castle Methodist Church Hall, Shropshire SY9 5AQ; 9.30am (for a 10am start) – until approximately 4.30pm. Tickets: £45 (includes free entry to the Friday evening concert).
