  El secretario general de la CIA, Kimmo Mattila, anuncia que la fecha límite para las entradas de la Coupe Mondiale 2019 es el 30 de junio de 2019. Las entradas se pueden enviar a través del sistema de inscripción en línea hasta esta fecha. Kimmo le pide que complete la inscripción de delegados / miembros del jurado lo antes posible, si aún no lo ha hecho. Esto es muy importante para que la organización pueda reservar las habitaciones del hotel.El presidente de la CIA, Mirco Patarini, invita a todos (41) miembros de la CIA a registrar delegados en el 142º Congreso Internacional de Delegados que se reúne dos veces en Shenzhen. La 72.ª Coupe Mondiale se llevará a cabo del 12 al 17 de agosto de 2019 en Shenzhen, China, organizada por la Asociación de Acordeón de Músicos Chinos (CAA). El presidente Li Cong y su Comité Organizador dan la bienvenida a todos para disfrutar de la famosa hospitalidad china y la maravillosa música en las modernas instalaciones del Xixiang Music Valley en Shenzhen. La Coupe Mondiale en China será un evento excepcional que incluirá concursos, conciertos, reuniones y varios eventos musicales.  Video: Emil Aibinder y su grupo.El Festival Anual de Acordeón de Israel se llevó a cabo recientemente en el anfiteatro de Nahalal, un asentamiento agrícola en el valle de Israel durante los "Días de la leche y la miel". El evento está dedicado a la memoria de Yehuda Oppenheimer, que posee el título de "El Profeta del Acordeón en Israel". Más de 3.000 personas se reunieron en todo el país para escuchar a talentosos israelíes y conocidos músicos de acordeón tocando una variedad de música clásica, balcánica, francesa, piazzolla e israelí. Entre los artistas, se encontraba Emil Aibinder (imagen de abajo con su grupo), cuyo popular grupo ha actuado ampliamente. Otros artistas incluyeron a Uzi Rosenblat (foto derecha), Vitali Podolsky (foto a la derecha), Yossi Gruska y la Orquesta Bustenaim (de más de 30 jugadores: acordeón y otros instrumentos, imagen arriba). Esta orquesta fue fundada por el estudiante de Yehuda Shuki Medanes y dirigida por el Sr. Hodorov. Hace 25 años, Techiya y Shmulik Kalosh comenzaron la reunión de acordeón en el patio de su casa. | El 14 de junio en la ciudad de Harbin, Mirco Patarini (acordeón solista) realizó un concierto con Roberto Molinelli (Italia, Director), la Orquesta Sinfónica de Harbin y cantantes de ópera que son Profesores en la Universidad Normal de Harbin. Organizado bajo la dirección de Wang Hongyu (organizador del Festival de Acordeón de Harbin), el programa era un "Paseo de la Ópera Italiana" que incluía famosas y hermosas óperas italianas; con fragmentos de Rossini, Puccini, Donizetti, Verdi, Mascagni, con la integración de muchas partes de acordeón solo. Gran parte de la música fue arreglada por Roberto Molinelli. La hermosa y espectacular sala de conciertos de Harbin con 1,400 asientos estaba llena y una audiencia entusiasta disfrutó del acordeón, la orquesta y los cantantes de ópera, que durante más de una hora realizaron muchas de las óperas italianas más famosas. |

| Four Accordion Babes from the Accordion Pin-Up Calendar have been performing concerts in Southern California last week. At the Coffee Gallery Backstage in Altadena, accordionists Sansa Asylum, Shiri Goldsmith and Renée de la Prade wowed their audience with Yiddish swing with horns, clarinet, rhythm and accordion. Renée played in duo with “Rebel Lovers” who entertained with a mix of rock/zydeco/blues. The following evening “Rebel Lovers” (who are based in Hamburg, Germany) entertained at the Museum of Making Music in Carlsbad with a spicy blend of rock, blues, zydeco and soul music. “Rebel Lovers” (Renee de la Prade on accordion and Ingo Braeuning on drums) were joined by Ric Lashever (on guitar) with his laconic cowboy charm and bluesy original songs. |

| On June 13th accordionist Alanah Jones premiered a new commissioned work entitled “La Luna Blanca” by highly regarded New Zealand choral composer David Hamilton. This composition for free bass accordion and choir was premiered at the Auckland Town Hall as part of the Westlake Chorolation choir performance for the New Zealand Secondary Schools Big Sing event. Westlake Chorolation if one of the top New Zealand youth choirs and has travelled internationally including performing at the Vatican in Italy. Alanah Jones has worked with David Hamilton for several months, demonstrating accordion and its possibilities, and testing the sounds of accordion and choir to finalise the composition for performance. |

| On June 23rd, the four accordionists who will represent New Zealand at the Coupe Mondiale World competitions in Shenzhen, China this August, performed for an excited audience at the Whangarei Keyboard Club in Whangarei, Northland. Performers (picture above) are: Angela & Jessie Chen, Adam Perry, Catrina Lin. Following an excellent afternoon tea and food, multi world champion Grayson Masefield entertained the audience and completed the concert. |

| The Crawley Accordion Orchestra will entertain at the Horsham Park Bandstand, Horsham, West Sussex on June 30th at 2.30pm. This concert is part of the “Summer Sounds” concert series in Horsham Park, funded by the Horsham District Council Events Team. The event encourages families to take a picnic and enjoy the entertainment.  The Gooikoorts International Music Festival will be held from July 5th to 7th and is at the crossroads of traditional and contemporary folk music. For twelve years, the organizers have been offering a high-quality event in a relaxed and family atmosphere, all set in the inviting setting of the green hills of Pajottenland.The concept has grown over the years and currently includes eleven concerts, including four purely acoustic, a massed concert, three balls, a large luthier market, initiations and a musical game island for the youngest. The headliners are internationally recognized artists with new talents added each year. The musical atmosphere continues regularly until the early hours with nightly jams. See Poster for details. |

 The Fairbanks Summer Arts Festival will be held on 10 stages at the UAF campus and various venues around Fairbanks, AK 99709, USA from July 14th to 28th. Nearly 10,000 people come together at the Festival every July to study, perform and engage their spirit in an empowering way. Accordionist Jamie Maschler (picture below) will teach three workshops at the University Community Presbyterian Church in College Road, Fairbanks. These are: “Accordion for Kids”, “Accordion Workshop” and “Playing through tunes”. The workshops will include Learning about the accordion mechanics, theory that allows you to open up opportunities on the accordion, different bass accompaniment outside of our typical 3/4 and 4/4 patterns that will include chord combining techniques and some bellows tips. Jamie will also take a look at a few familiar accordion classics like Tico-Tico No Fuba and La Cumparsita and talk about how to play them as a solo or with other people. Beginners welcome. |

| CNIMA directed by Nathalie Boucheix announce a new course entitled “The Pure Atmosphere Course” which will be held from 12th to 16th August, 2019. Throughout the five days, students will receive group and individual tuition on two pieces to play together. These pieces are: The Romance of Paris (Charles Trenet) and Tango Passion (Jacques Mornet). This course aims to provide a new way of progressing collectively, in a friendly atmosphere, and the spirit of mutual aid that prevails at CNIMA.
