 From July 1st until December 31st, Lithuania will hold the Presidency of the Council of the European Union in the second half of 2013. In celebration of this honour, Lithuanian accordionist Martynas Levickis and accompanists will perform in concert on July 1st, 7.30pm, at St John Smith Square, London SW1P 3HA. This concert is the first event in the Lithuanian Presidency Cultural Programme.Martynas Levickis became a household name in Lithuania when he won the ‘Lithuania's Got Talent’ TV show in 2010. In the same year, he also won the CIA Coupe Mondiale Piano Accordion category. Having studied at the Royal Academy of Music, London, is his second home, and he's played in many of its prestigious scenes. What does he play?
