World Accordion Day Events in Ponferrada - Spainby Christine Johnstone |

 Three events have been organised at the Sala Rio Selmo in Ponferrada, Castilla and Leon, Spain, to celebrate World Accordion Day as follows:• May 4th, 2023: “La Musica” variety evening organised by the Asociación Musical de Acordeonistas "El Sámbano". See poster above. • May 5th 2023: Concert by Bert van den Brink at 8pm. See poster left. • May 6th: VI Aris del Puerto Competition for Accordionists, promoted by the family of Aris del Puerto to pay tribute and recognition to her, the educational values she transmitted and her desire of having learnt to play the accordion. This event is organized by the Aris del Puerto family and the Asociación Musical de Acordeonistas "El Sámbano". See poster below. |
