 Accordionist Nihad Hrustanbegovic, based in the Netherlands, returns home to Bosnia and Herzegovina to perform at this year’s Sarajevo Film Festival, August 16th to 24th. Nihad will perform a solo concert at the Gala opening ceremony on August 16th in Hotel Europe, Sarajevo. His program, featuring 7 music styles, includes Classical music: ‘Asturias’ – Isaac Albeniz; Tango: ‘Strange’/‘Libertango’ and ‘Tango pour Claude’ – Astor Piazzolla/Grace Jones/Richard Galliano; French valse: ‘La Foule’ – Edit Piaf, ‘Amelie’ - Yan Tiersen, ‘Bluesette’ – Toots Thielemans; Jazz: ‘Take Five’, ‘Summertime’, ‘Love is the losing game’, ‘All The Things You Are’, ‘Caravan’; the movie soundtracks: ‘Fly’ – Einaudi, ‘Farewell to Cheyenne’ - Ennio Morricone, ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ - Hans Zimmer, ‘Sevdah’ (will be chosen by Sarajevo Film Festival this week).
