6th Bristol Cajun & Zydeco Festival! - UKby Harley Jones |

| In spite of Royal Mail strikes causing minor problems, some of the events have already sold out for the 6th Bristol Cajun & Zydeco Festival. The event runs from Friday 16th to Sunday 18th October 2009 at the Folk House in Bristol, BS1 5JG). This year's international line-up consists of Cajun Roosters (Germany / UK / Holland), Cajun Dawgs, The Downtown Cajun Band (Holland), The Whiskey River Boys, Petite et la Grosse and Z-Funk, with top class cajun and zydeco dance tuition from Carol Wilson and Kay Anderson. In addition there will be jam sessions and a late night venue for further dancing and jamming. The licensed bar will be open throughout the day and cajun and home cooked food will be available at meal times.
