 The Trophée National de l’Accordéon was hosted in Semur-en-Auxois over the weekend of 19th and 20th November and brought together accordionists from all over France to compete in the various catagories of competition.Organised by Frédéric Deschamps, special persons in attendance included Michel Pruvot, Raymond Bodell (President Confédération Internationale des Accordéonistes - CIA), Daniel Jurquet (President European Music Academy - EMA) ) and Jacques Mornet. From the 90 competitors who had qualified for these finals in the various catagories the 1st place prizewinner of the National Trophée 2016 was Jean Baptiste Baudin and that of the Musette Trophée National Michel Pruvot 2016 was Romain Pruvost. The jury included: Michel Pruvot, Nathalie Bernat, Nathalie Boucheix, Jérémie Buirette, Claude Carron, Michele Chabod, Guillaume Fric, Jean Ribeiro as well as Alexander Bodell – the winner of the Trophee National 2015 and 2nd place prizewinner in both the 2016 CIA Coupe Mondiale and CMA Trophée Mondial Junior Virtuoso category. Concert performers included Kristap Ginters (Latvia) and Egle Barkteviciuté (Lithuania). |
