 On Monday March 28th, 7pm, accordionist Richard Galliano and guitarist Sylvain Luc, both from France, perform a ‘Tribute to Edith Piaf’ concert at the Kongresu rumai, Vilniaus gatve, LT-01102 Vilnius, Lithuania.Richard Galliano (born 1950) is one of France’s leading accordionists. After winning the CMA Trophee Mondiale World Championship in 1967, Galliano became an internationally celebrated concert accordionist, teacher, prolific composer and recording artist. Sylvain Luc, best known as a highly accomplished jazz guitarist, played bass with Richard Galliano’s trio in the 1980s and 1990s. His brother is the accordionist Gérard Luc. Édith Piaf (1915 – 1963) was a legendary French cabaret singer, songwriter and actress who became widely regarded as France's national chanteuse, as well as being one of France's greatest international stars.
