 An Accordion Festival, organized by the Koninklijke Accordeonvereniging ‘Hoger Streven’ vzw accordion club, takes place in Essen, Antwerp, Belgium, on May 7th and 8th.The guests include Renzo Ruggieri, Cliff, Ludo Marien, d'Accord (Mike and Ivan Smeulders plus combo), and several accordion bands from Flanders. Koninklijke Accordeonvereniging ‘Hoger Streven’ vzw, founded in 1945, is a very active club, with international connections, and seeks to promote the accordion in all its styles. |
