Paul Chamberlain in RSAM Prize Winners’ Concert, Glasgow - UKby Rob Howard |
On Monday June 28th, the Royal Scottish Academy of Music in Glasgow, will be holding a concert of Governors’ Prize Winners. Paul Chamberlain became the first accordionist to win this prestigious award in March 2010. Up against the finest pianists of the academy, Paul’s impressive performance earned him the first prize in the competition. This concert begins at 1pm and features winners from the various disciplines across the academy and is being recorded by Radio Scotland for future broadcast on their ‘Classics Unwrapped’ programme. Paul will also be interviewed by the BBC and this will provide a excellent opportunity to promote the instrument when the concert is aired. |
