Beltango Quintet & Carlos Buono Tour – Germany, Finland, Serbia, Italyby Rob Howard |

| Beltango were formed in 1998 to play the music of Argentina, specifically tango. The group are headed by the husband and wife team of Aleksandar Nikolic and Ivana Nikolic. Aleksandar plays piano accordion and bandoneon; Ivana plays piano and provides vocals, where required, with a very convincing South American accent. The rest of the band are Jovan Bogosavljevic (violin), Bogdan Pejic (electric guitar), and Ljubinko Lazic (double bass). The Beltango Quintet from Serbia, and Argentinean bandoneonist Carlos Buono are currently on their ‘Summer tour 2010’, and their forthcoming dates include: June 25th – concert, Pfarrsaal der Erlöser Kirche, Munich, Germany June 26th - Jazzkeller- bassico concert Munich July 1st - Sata-Häme Soi Festival, Ikaalinen, Tampere, Finland July 4th - Tango Norte summer milonga, Stockholm, Sweden July 9th - Elba tango marathon, Vasteras, Sweden July 14th - Pazovacko kulturno leto, Stara Pazova, Serbia July 15th - Kalemegdanski sutoni, Beograd, Serbia July 17th - Val Tidone summer festival, Piazenca, Italy July 20th - Novosadsko muzicko leto, Novi Sad, Serbia For further information email: info@beltango.com |
