 The annual Sidmouth Folk Week takes place from August 1st to 8th, and involves a huge number of singers, musicians, bands, and dance teams. There’s always a large number of accordion and concertina players involved in the concerts, workshops, and dancing, and this year includes John Kirkpatrick, Aly Bain & Phil Cunningham, Jim Causley, Chris Wood & Andy Cutting, Mary MacNamara, John Dipper, Ed Rennie, Dan Quinn, Rod Stradling, Paul Hutchinson, Oyster Band, Will Pound Band, English Contra Dance Band, Kathryn Tickell & The Side, to name but some.
