| The Accordion Society of Australia presented a concert at Box Hill, Victoria, Australia on June 17th in conjunction with The Boite multicultural music organisation. The concert entitled “Tangos to Turkey”, included a “selection of music from Argentinian tango (by Piazzolla) to the melismatic tunes of the Middle East” by Stephen Cutriss (bandoneon) and Amy Lynch (piano). In addition, accordionist Phil Carroll performed a variety of French, Italian, jazz and Balkan music styles, accompanied by drummer and percussionist David Joseph. |
