 Sidmouth Folk Week takes place in the Devon seaside town of Sidmouth from July 31st to August 7th. This annual festival features a multitude of folk artistes and dance teams, and is a colourful pageant of British and international folk music traditions.Accordion and other free reed instruments are always well represented on the guest list, and artistes appearing this year include the Alistair Anderson, Askew Sisters, Damien Barber, Blackthorn, The Boat Band, Darren Breslin, Jim Causley, Dartmoor Pixie Band, The Destroyers, Faustus, Glorystokes, Bob Hay, Keith Kendrick & Sylvia Needham, John Kirkpatrick, Lark Rise, Lau, Lauren McCormick Trio, The Mighty Quinns, Old Swan Ceilidh Band, Oyster Ceilidh Band, Pendragon, Phoenix, Random, Spiers and Boden, Riccardo Tesi (Italy), Rocas, 3D, The Watch, Waterson Carthy, Roger Watson, and Whapweasel.
