‘Music in the Parks’ is a series of concerts taking place in parks across Belfast, Northern Ireland, from May to September. These concerts feature a variety of musical styles, including jazz, blues and classical – and some of the concerts are presented by accordion bands. July 25th, 2pm until 3pm - East Antrim (Elementary) Accordion Orchestra at the Drumglass Park July 26th, 3pm until 4pm - Blaris Accordion Orchestra, Ormeau Park August 16th, 2pm until 3pm - George Dummigan Accordion Orchestra, Belfast Zoo August 22nd, 3pm until 4pm - East Antrim (Killyglen) Accordion Orchestra, Barnett Demesne August 23rd, 1pm until 2pm - Castlewellan Accordion Orchestra, Belfast Castle estate September 5th, 3pm until 4pm - George Dummigan Accordion Orchestra, Ormeau Park September 6th, 2pm until 5pm – Grand Finale concert at the Sir Thomas and Lady Dixon Park, with the Ormeau Concert Band, Blaris Accordion Orchestra, Ballygowan Flute Band, and the 1st Old Boys' Silver Band For further information email: generalenquiries@belfastcity.gov.uk |
