Lips Accordion Workshop, Imst – Austriaby Dr Herbert Scheibenreif Manager of Friedrich Lips Productions |

| For the 10th time the city of Imst (located in the Tyrol, near Innsbruck) organized a workshop for musicians and artistes of different styles, from July 13th to 17th. Participants from USA, Germany, France and Luxemburg had the opportunity to combine some relaxing days with artistic activity. Bayanist/accordionist Friedrich Lips (from the Gnessin Academy of Music in Moscow) gave solo lessons to participants giving his view of how to solve musical and technical problems, performance on stage, etc. The programme of the final concert included works by J.S.Bach, D.Scarlatti, F.Mendelssohn, Bartholdy, V.Solotaryov and A.Khatchaturyan.
