Accordionist Roman Jbanov and soprano Marie-Noelle Cros perform in concert on Sunday August 26th, 5pm, at Eglise Saint-Andre, Besse et-Saint-Anastaise, Puy-de-Dôme, Auvergne. The programme includes music by JS bach, Mozart, Bizet, Rossini, and more. Roman Jbanov, born in the Ukraine in 1976, began playing the accordion at the age of six years of age, and in 1988 he entered the Secondary Special Music School (S.S.M.S) Lyceum attached to the M. I. Glinka Novosibrisk State Conservatory in Russia, and in 1994 entered the M.I. Glinka Novosibirsk State Conservatory. He went on to win many prizes in competitions including the CMA Trophee Mondial in 1997, and tour internationally. Since 1997 he has performed regularly with French accordionist Domi Emorine as the Paris-Moscow Duo. For further information email: duopm@sfr.fr |
