 Accordionist Katerina Lekka performs in concert on Saturday April 25th, 8pm, at Chaidari, Athens, Greece.Katerina Lekka began to play the accordion at the age of seven, and later studied with the composer George Georgiadis until she graduated from the Athens Conservatory in accordion, piano, and music theory. She performs in various styles, including Greek. She works as a solo accordionist and in various ensembles, composes, teaches accordion, piano and music theory, and is a session musician as a frequent guest on various CD projects (including Nikos Grapsas, Iossif Valet, G. Lyckouras etc.). |
