| Folkwang Accordion Week takes place at the Folkwang University, Klemensborn 59, Essen, Germany, from Friday November 30th to Tuesday December 4th, featuring master classes, lectures and concerts, and an accordion competition. This year’s guest lecturers include Claudio Jacomucci, Uwaga!, José María Sánchez-Verdú and Branko Džinovic. The Artistic Director of the Folkwang Accordion Week is Professor Mie Miki. Two of the events are: November 30th - Claudio Jacomucci performs a premiere of Stefano Scodanibbio’s ‘Escondido’ December 4th, 2pm-3.30pm, Branko Džinovic will present his doctoral research on the composer-performer relationship in Sofia Gubaidulina’s works for the bayan and accordion For further information email: karten@folkwang-uni.de |
