National Competition 2010 and Selection for the CMA Trophée Mondial, Ourense - Spainby Raquel Ruiz |
 The 53rd National Accordion Competition, organised by AGA- Asociación Galega do Acordeón, took place July 2nd to 4th in Ourense in the north of Spain. This competition is also the national selection for the Spanish entrants for the 60th Trophée Mondial of Accordion that will be held in Vigo, Spain, from September 21st to 25th.The accordionists came from different Spanish regions such as Navarra, Asturias, Madrid, Galicia, and Aragón. The results and the winners and national selected for the Trophée Mondial were: Category, Senior Classic: 1st - Alejandro Martínez (Oviedo), 2nd - Xabier Olazábal (Pamplona), and 3rd - Adrian López de Munáin (Pamplona) Category, Junior classic: 1st - Helena Sousa (Ourense) Category, National Trophée Xacobeo: 1st - Xabier Olazábal, 2nd - Adrian López de Munáin, and 3rd - Joaquín Enríquez (Ferrol) The Jury was formed by Anibal Freire (Portugal), Raquel Ruiz (Madrid), Juan Carlos Cárcamo (Bilbao) and Miguel Miguez (Vigo).
