 Bayan player Volodymyr Kuryienko and several of his musician friends present a concert on Saturday afternoon February 24th, 2pm, at the Krolevets Children’s School of Art in the Ukraine.Volodymyr Kuryienko (born 1973) studied at the Donetsk Conservatory in the class of Professor Vyacheslav Voyevodin. He won prizes in several competitions, and has become well known for performing in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. His current repertoire includes pieces by composers from Bach up to modern times, from classical to jazz and entertainment music. He often performs pieces by Soviet, Ukrainian and Russian composers specially written for bayan. For further information email: bayan.ukraine@gmail.com |
