 The new album by Frode Haltili titled Arne Nordheim Complete Accordion Works was released by Simax Classics in November. Live performances of the concerto ‘Spur’ in Oslo (Nov 10) and Huddersfield, UK (Nov 24) also marked the release of this important recording of the accordion compositions of Arne Nordheim (1931-2010).Arne Nordheim, gained wide recognition as Norway"s leading contemporary composer and as a major creative force in European modern music. Accordionist Frode Haltli is held in the highest regard for his innovative work over the past 10 years, including several successful albums in the ECM catalogue.
