Video of Raffaele Damen performing for the semi finals. It began in Pesaro, 4th March when young accordionist Raffaele Damen greatly impressed the four judges of "Italy's Got Talent", on Friday night TV Channel 8. The judges unanimously gave a "Yes". "I can better express my emotions through the accordion," said Raffaele Damen before his performance, to the four judges who looked at him intrigued. In particular, Nina Zilli asked him why he chose to "play the accordion?". Raffaele Damen explained "I'm living in a family of musicians, and as a child, when I just saw the accordion for the first time, I told my parents that I wanted to play it", said Raffaele. On the 21st April in the second semi finals, Raffaele Damen performed and so impressed the jury, that he is now through to the Finals of the "Italy's Got Talent". Raffaele Damen was born in Pesaro, Italy. He graduated in accordion from the Conservatory "G. Rossini" of Pesaro with full marks and honours. Later he deepened his studies at the Folkwang Universität der Künste of Essen in Germany. He has been lucky to study with Maestri Mie Miki and Paolo Vignani. He has attended master classes with Ivano Battiston, Stefan Hussong, Matti Rantanen, Corrado Rojac and others. |
