  Video: Libertango by Astor Piazzolla, Kosmos Ensemble with Worthing Symphony Orchestra.Arranged by Harriet Mackenzie for Kosmos Ensemble (Harriet Mackenzie - violin, Meg-Rosaleen Hamiton - viola, Milos Milivojevic accordion), Worthing Symphony Orchestra, John Gibbons (conductor) The Kosmos Ensemble will perform at the Ripon International Festival, Helperby Village Hall, Main St, York, on September 22nd at 7.30pm. The festival began on September 1st and will run until October 6th directed by Susan Goldsbrough with artistic director Janusz Piotrowicz, both who are co-founders of the event. The trio which includes accordionist Miloš Milivojevic, Harriet Mackenzie (violin) and Meg Hamilton (viola) will play a programme inspired by music from all around the globe. They have just released their new album entitled “Pinnacle Ridge” on the Nimbus label (pictured above). The album features some of their favourite music from Japan, Serbia, Sweden, Scotland, as well as popular tango and Gypsy, Jewish music from the much loved classical repertoire that they have taken back to its roots.
