Video: John Elmsly: Lullaby The SOUNZ Centre for NZ Music concluded their recent Resound film coverage of the Auckland Chamber Orchestra’s John Elmsly Composer Portrait concert with ‘Lullaby’. This octet was originally scored for melody instrument and piano and aims to musically recreate the “simplicity and beauty” of the collection ‘He Waiata Onamata (Songs from the Past)’, published by Te Reo Rangatira. Conductor Peter Scholes directs Eddie Giffney (accordion), Jenni Seddon-Mori (flute), Donald Nicholls (clarinet), Andrew Uren (bass clarinet), Kevin Kim (recorder), Miranda Adams (violin), James Yoo (cello), and Sarah Watkins (piano).
