L'accordéoniste lituanien Martynas Levickis a reçu le prix de l'instrumentiste Opus Klassik de l'année 2023 plus tôt ce mois-ci. La cérémonie de remise des prix a eu lieu dans la prestigieuse salle de concert de Berlin, en Allemagne. Martynas a déclaré : « Ce prix est un grand honneur et une confirmation que je suis sur la bonne voie. » Il a remercié « tous ceux qui ont contribué à son dernier album « Autograph », en particulier les producteurs de musique Vilis et Aleksandra Kerams pour le son fantastique de l'enregistrement, ainsi que les membres de « Mikroorkéstra », pour leurs arrangements de chansons folkloriques qui sonnaient si spéciales. .» La Radio et télévision nationale lituanienne (LRT) a rapporté que Martynas avait également eu l'honneur d'interpréter un collage musical des œuvres folkloriques lituaniennes "Beauštanti aušrele" et "Ruta žalioj" avec le "Konzerthausorchester" de Berlin, dirigé par Joana Mallwitz, au prix. Une fois de plus, l'accordéoniste est apparu lors de la finale de la cérémonie et, avec d'autres interprètes, a joué des collages des œuvres de George Gershwin "Blue Rhapsody" et "I got Rhythm". |

1. Baltic Princess

 La croisière 2024 de l'Association Finlandaise de l'Accordéon aura lieu les 23 et 24 mars 2024, sur le Baltic Princess.Le bateau de croisière, avec environ 2 200 accordéonistes, partira de Turku, en Finlande, le 23 mars 2024 à 18h30. Le paquebot se rendra à Kapellskär, en Suède et reviendra à Turku le 24 mars à 16h30. Le Baltic Princess est « entièrement réservé aux accordéonistes et ressemble à un paradis sonore pendant presque une journée ». « La musique joue du soir au matin et du matin au soir dans les salles et spontanément dans les couloirs du navire par des accordéonistes professionnels et amateurs ». 74ème Festival d'Accordéon et de Violon de Perth All-Scotland - Ecosseby AWW |

| Le 74ème Perth All-Scotland Accordion & Fiddle Festival aura lieu à Perth, en Écosse, les 27 et 28 octobre 2023, et comprendra les championnats écossais d'accordéon. L'événement débutera par une danse de bienvenue Ceilidh du vendredi soir, le 27 octobre, de 20h à 23h30 à la Suite Moncrieffe, Salutation Hotel à Perth. Les artistes comprennent le Gordon Shand Scottish Dance Band, The Shands (photo ci-dessous) et le Lomond Ceilidh Band. Le 28 octobre, les compétitions auront lieu au Salutation Hotel et à l'église St. Matthews de Perth à partir de 9h. Les juges d'accordéon sont : John Carmichael, Kevin Clark, Jim Lindsay et Neil Copland. De la musique informelle sera assurée au Perth Salutation Bar de 13h30 à 16h00, dirigée par le Lomond Ceilidh Band. Une « Grande Finale » aura lieu à la Suite Moncrieffe, Salutation Hotel à Perth de 16h30 à 18h00, qui « mettra en valeur les meilleurs talents de la scène de l'accordéon et du violon ». | Les réservations sont ouvertes pour la Journée du Super Accordéon Orchestra 2023, qui se tiendra au Cobham Village Hall à Surrey, Angleterre, Royaume-Uni, le 29 octobre 2023, organisée par le Guildford Accordion Club. L'événement est une « journée fantastique de musique d'accordéon pour plusieurs joueurs. Venez et amenez vos amis qui jouent de l’accordéon. Un programme musical passionnant est prévu. Une section débutants et enfants aura lieu dans le hall arrière avec la possibilité d’emprunter un accordéon pour jouer ce jour-là. Cela doit être pré-réservé. La journée se terminera par un concert mettant en vedette le Super Orchestra, le Tillingbourne Accordion Orchestra, le Watford Accordion Band et les London Accordion Players. La chef d'orchestre Crystal Wang est secrétaire exécutive de la China Accordion Association (CAA), membre de la CIA, et elle est membre du comité musical de la CIA. Voir les photos du concert : 2023WAD-Chine Cette œuvre faisait partie d'un concert spécial "Love for the City" présenté à Shanghai présentant des œuvres d'accordéon de style chinois de Shanghai, guidées par le concept de la culture de style de Shanghai, explorant la source et l'essence de l'art de l'accordéon de style de Shanghai. Le concert a présenté les caractéristiques de la musique de style Shanghai en jouant avec plusieurs œuvres uniques pour accordéon de style Shanghai. Les compétences musicales et l'excellente capacité d'interprétation des membres de l'Orchestre d'Accordéon de l'Université Normale de Shanghai, ainsi que la fusion de multiples formes d'art, ont mis en évidence de multiples aspects de l'art de l'accordéon. The Astana Times Kazakhstan reporter, Aibarshyn Akhmetkali, featured an item on Kazakh accordion 2021 Coupe Mondiale winner, Olzhas Nurlanov this month as follows: “Kazakh accordionist Olzhas Nurlanov mesmerized the European audience with his profound performances during his September concerts in Bosnia and Herzegovina (a the 2023 Coupe Mondiale), Serbia and Germany, reported NF media. Nurlanov holds the 2021 world champion title among accordionists as the winner of the 74th Coupe Mondiale international competition. Nurlanov was invited to Bosnia and Herzegovina for a solo concert in Bijeljina and to perform with the President of the International Association of Accordionists Mirco Patarini and former Coupe Mondiale winners in Ugljevik, Kirill Rusinov, Alexander Selivanov and Grayson Masefield. Nurlanov’s remarkable artistry and technical prowess have enabled him to broaden the accordion’s repertoire, incorporating Kazakh traditional music such as Kurmangazy’s “Adai” and Nagim Mendygaliev’s “Poem-Legend of Dombra.” His program also featured classical pieces by Johann Sebastian Bach, Domenico Scarlatti, Modest Mussorgsky, Camille Saint-Saëns, and Robert Schumann. He also performed works by Vladislav Zolotaryov and Alexander Kholminov, both of whom composed original music for the accordion. Nurlanov’s skills also impressed Milan Tomic, a famous musician and the organizer of the annual accordion festival in Kragujevac, Serbia, who invited him to perform three concerts in the Serbian cities of Kragujevac, Valjevo, and Kraljevo. After Serbia, Nurlanov traveled to Italy to participate in one of the most prestigious international competitions for accordionists, the 48th edition of the PIF 2023Castelfidardo. This year, 20 finalists from around the world performed live for the judges, including two solo performances and one with an orchestra. Nurlanov won the second prize. While in Italy, Nurlanov was invited to the famed Beltuna factory and he concluded his tour with solo concerts in the German cities of Heppenheim and Langenzenn. “In 2024, Nurlanov plans to tour several countries, including Switzerland, Germany and Serbia. Additionally, he is in discussions for a potential tour in China.” |

| The Aotango Quintet began their four-concert tour of the North Island of New Zealand with a performance at the Dargaville Methodist Church on October 2nd, 2023. The concert delighted the audience and finished with several encores and a standing ovation.   La Guilde Internationale des Accordéonistes et des Enseignants (ATG) est très fière de commander un documentaire commémorant le travail du Dr Helmi Harrington, érudit et expert en tout ce qui concerne l'accordéon, conservateur depuis sa création au Musée du Monde de l'Accordéon (The World of Accordions Museum) à Superior, Wisconsin, ETATS-UNIS.Le film mettra en valeur la collection d'accordéons du musée et racontera l'histoire et le développement de l'accordéon au fil des années. L'équipe de production est originaire de Chicago - Mobula Productions et Nikola Stojkovic (étudiant à la Chicagoland Accordion Academy et écrivain et producteur de films) dirige l'action !
