 Le Festival international (ATG) de la Guilde des accordéonistes et des enseignants 2023 se tiendra au Lisle Hyatt à Lisle, Illinois, États-Unis, du 19 au 22 juillet 2023. La présidente de l'ATG, Mary Ann Covone, accueille les passionnés d'accordéon du monde entier.Des concerts événements auront lieu à l'Armerding Center for Performing Arts sur le campus de Wheaton College avec comme invités Grayson Masefield (Nouvelle-Zélande), le Polyphonia Orchestra (Île de la Réunion), Das Duo Kollektiv (duo flûte & accordéon d'Autriche), Stas Venglevski (USA) avec Dr. Brett Jones au marimba et le (UMKC) Community Accordion Chamber Ensemble dirigé par Joan Cochran Sommers. Les billets pour la tournée de concerts du Sharon Shannon Trio au Royaume-Uni se vendent rapidement et certaines dates affichent déjà complet. La tournée débutera le 3 février 2023 à Londres et se poursuivra jusqu'au 19 février à Exeter. Sharon Shannon est connue pour ses arrangements d'airs irlandais traditionnels et ses compositions d'influence irlandaise et est réputée pour ses collaborations, non seulement dans la musique traditionnelle irlandaise, mais dans tous les genres musicaux, Hip-Hop, Cajun, Country, Reggae, Classique et Rap. |

 Le 1er janvier 2023, Frank Busso Jr. a été élu président de l' American Accordionists' Association (AAA) pour un mandat de 2023 à 2025.Frank Busso Jr. siège au conseil d'administration de l'AAA depuis 2007 et en tant que 2e vice-président de l'organisation depuis 2021. Il est le directeur du groupe Ernest Deffner, qui représentent les marques Titano, Pancordion, Pigini, Excelsior, Roland et Hohner. Frank est l'accordéoniste du United States Air Force Band à Washington, DC et dirige la Busso Music School à Alexandria, VA. Il a obtenu une licence de gestion à l'Université de Boston, puis a été enseignant et arrangeur pour l’orchestre de la Boston University Athletic . Frank a étudié l'accordéon avec Frank Busso Sr. à la Staten Island Music School de New York, où il est finalement devenu enseignant. Ses élèves ont remporté de nombreux titres dans les compétitions régionales et nationales. |

  La XXVe édition du Concours et Festival International de Musique Val Tidone se tiendra du 13 au 16 juillet 2023 à Val Tidone, en Italie.Les compétitions incluent : • Concours de composition Egidio Carella pour la musique classique et contemporaine avec des sections pour instrument soliste et musique de chambre. • Prix de piano Silvio Bengalli • Concours Jeunes Talents Val Tidone qui comprend des catégories par âge pour les sections : piano, cordes et musique de chambre. Les membres du jury du concours de composition sont Livio Bollani (directeur artistique – photo à gauche), Andrea Portera et Barbara Rettagliati. Les candidatures ouvrent le 1er février 2023. | Werner Weibert, President of the Harmonikaverband Osterreichs (HVÖ) has announced that registrations are now open for the Day of the Harmonica 2023 competition which will take place from May 18th to 21st, 2023 in Stainz, Southern Styria, Austria. The event will include the Austrian competition for accordion soloists, duos, ensembles, chamber music and world music. In addition, registrations are also now open for the 4th Erich Moser International Memorial Competition for Styrian Harmonica. | Applications are now open for the 16th Premio Andrea Parodi World Music Competition in Italy. Premio Andrea Parodi was created in honour of the distinguished Sardinian artist Andrea Parodi, who passed away in 2006. The Artistic Commission established by the Foundation will select ten finalists among the applicants in an anonymous way. The finalists will perform in Cagliari at the "Premio Andrea Parodi" Festival 2023, in front of a jury composed of authoritative industry professionals (singers,, musicians, writers and songwriters, poets, managers, producers, press offices, journalists), from international countries. These finals will be held in autumn in Cagliari, Sardinia. The prize for the Winner includes concerts and performances in some of the partner music festivals in their 2024 editions, such as European Jazz Expo (Sardinia), Folkest (Friuli), as well as the Premio Andrea Parodi 2024. In addition, winners will be entitled to a €2,500 scholarship. The winner of the Critics' Awards will have a professional videoclip of their competition piece produced, offered by the Andrea Parodi Foundation. Some of the finalists can also be invited to some other partner festivals, such as Mare e Miniere, Premio Bianca d’Aponte, Premio Città di Loano per la musica tradizionale italiana, Mo'l'estate Spirit Festival, Musiconnect-Italy.  Accordionist and composer, Professor Claudio Jacomucci will hold an accordion masterclass at the Chamber Music Hall of the Folkwang Universität der Künste in Essen-Werden, Germany from January 28th to 30th, 2023.The artistic director of the event is Mie Miki (Folkwang Professor for Accordion and Vice President for Artistic Excellence) with the kind support of Dr. Josef and Brigitte Pauli Foundation. | Klaus Paier (accordion) and Asja Valcic (cello) will present their concert entitled “Vision for Two – Ten Years” at the Teatro Sociale di Stradella in Stradella, Italy on February 11th, 2023 at 9pm. The duo, who have been performing together for ten years, will present a program from their album "Vision for Two - Ten years", which was recorded in 2019. They planned a concert tour to present the album back then, but it was suspended due to the pandemic and resumed again this year. Their music converges French musette, Argentine tango, Balkan dance, rock and jazz. |

| La convention de la National Accordion Association (NAA) se tiendra du 15 au 19 mars 2023 à l'hôtel Hilton à Richardson auTexas aux USA. La convention présentera des versions 2023 de la musique américaine commercialisables en tant que musique d'aujourd'hui. Cela sera une combinaison de musique américaine contemporaine créée par des immigrants américains qui mêmé leurs valeurs et traditions musicales au genre américain. Un mélange de styles musicaux qui incluent, entre autres, des airs populaires, de la musique folklorique, de la musique country et western (C&W), des ballades à texte, du rock and roll, des polkas et des valses, de la musique européenne, du gospel et du jazz. En outre, la convention 2023 offrira des propositions de formation autour des thèmes pensée créative et musique, travail de l'oreille, contrôle de l'articulation et du soufflet, technique pratique, lecture à vue, théorie musicale, techniques d'interprétation et mise en situation de concert.
