 ‘Accordions at the Castle’ takes place at the Norbreck Castle Hotel, Blackpool, Lancashire, May 13th/18th. The festival includes concerts, meet the guest sessions, workshops, Scottish dancing, and a trade show. The guests include Giancarlo Caporilli (Italy), Stefan Andrusyschyn & Denise Leigh, Gennaro Ruffolo (Italy), Roy Hendrie & Dave Morrice (Scotland), Harry Hussey, Rosemary Wright, Bert Santilly, Les Vintages, Saxaccord, and the Festival Jazz Band. Ken Hopkins will display and demonstrate some of his huge collection of antique accordions. This festival uniquely features a concert performance of the fabulous ‘Piaf – The Songs’, with French singer Eve Loisseau, accordionist Eddy Jay, and violinist Fiona Barrow.
