Sharon Shannon Tour – Germany, Switzerlandby Rob Howard |
Irish 2-row diatonic button accordionist Sharon Shannon this weekend begins a concert tour of Germany, finishing with a date in Bern, Switzerland. Sharon Shannon, from County Clare in Ireland, also plays the fiddle, tin whistle and melodeon. Her self-titled debut album, in 1991, ‘Sharon Shannon’ was the best-selling album of traditional Irish music ever released in Ireland.
