Milos Milivojevic solo CD release, London – UKby Rob Howard |
London-based Serbian accordionist Milos Milivojevic has recorded a solo classical CD for the Nimbus label, ‘Accord for life’, set for release on November 2nd. Tracks: Scarlatti – ‘Sonata in D Minor, K. 1’; Scarlatti – ‘Sonata in F Major, K. 44’; Scarlatti - ‘Sonata F Sharp Minor, K. 25’; Mendelssohn – ‘Organ Sonata in D Minor, Op. 65, No. 6: I. Chorale and Variations’; JS Bach – ‘Chorale Prelude BWV639 'Ich ruf' zu dir, Herr Jesu Christ'’; Viktor Vlasov – ‘Five Views on Gulay State’; Franck Angelis - ‘Interieur’; Viatcheslav Semionov – ‘Don Rhapsodie, No. 2: II, second movement’; Sarasate – ‘Introduction and Tarantella, Op. 43’. After completing his studies in Kragujevac Music School, Serbia, with Vojin Vasovic, in 2002 Miloš Milivojevic moved to London to study at the Royal Academy of Music with Owen Murray where he obtained the Postgraduate Diploma in July 2009 and was awarded with Dip RAM. In July 2007 he became the first accordionist ever to win the RAM Club Prize at the Royal Academy of Music. He is a first prize-winner at international competitions in Germany, France, Italy and Denmark. In addition to solo playing, he is also a chamber musician, and is a member of the Kosmos Ensemble, London Tango quintet, and AccordDuo. For further information email: milosmusic@hotmail.com |
