 From November 10th to 18th Russian accordionist Maria Vlasova will be touring Austria, giving solo recitals and double concerts together with Stas Venglevski (USA) and Misha Litvin (domra) in cities: Bad Tatzmannsdorf, Leobendorf, Hochegg, Graz, St. Stefan, Neunkirchen, St. Paul, and Hermagor. Her program will include works by Mozart, Scarlatti, Paganini/Liszt, Mendelssohn, Tschaikowsky, Stravinsky, Albeniz, Bronner, Berinsky, Piazzolla,Murena, Visso, and Na-Yun Kin. Maria Vlasova belongs to a generation of extremely gifted young Russian accordionists and from 1999 to 2004, she studied with Prof. Friedrich Lips at the Russian Gnessin Academy of Music in Moscow where she also finished her postgraduate course in 2007. Maria Vlasova is a multiple winner of prestigious international competitions and has toured extensively to Italy, Spain, Switzerland, Denmark, Poland, England, USA, Germany, China, and many Russian cities. In 2011 Maria Vlasova recorded and released 4 solo CD's and currently, is soloist for the Moscow Philharmonic Society as well as organizer and artistic director of two international music festivals.
