2022 Seminario de Acordeón y Días de Acordeón - Suizaby Christine Johnstone |
  El Seminario de Acordeón 2022 y los Días de Acordeón Suiza se llevarán a cabo en el Campus Sursee en Sursee, Suiza, del 21 al 23 de enero de 2022.El evento incluirá un fin de semana lleno de música y trabajo intensivo para acordeonistas de todos los niveles, cursos de orquesta con profesores de Suiza y del extranjero, clases magistrales para acordeonistas solistas y un curso de dirección. Ian Watson (imagen arriba a la izquierda) dará una clase de orquesta titulada "Música de película y 4 bocetos marinos", que se centra en las melodías de "Star Wars" y "E.T." películas. Otros temas del curso son: métodos de ensayo, consolidación musical, articulación diferenciada, trabajo en la dinámica y ejecución. Lionel Chapuis (foto arriba a la derecha) ofrecerá una clase de orquesta titulada "Rapsodia en azul - orquesta de acordeón y pianista" donde los asistentes tendrán el placer de abordar la famosa obra de George Gershwin "Rapsodia en azul" en una versión orquestal de acordeón y piano. | El IV Concurso de Toda Rusia "Música Barroca en Bayan y Acordeón" se llevará a cabo en la Sala de Órgano (en la foto de arriba) de la Academia Rusa de Música de Gnessin en Moscú, los días 17 y 18 de marzo de 2022. La competencia se llevará a cabo en 2 rondas de la siguiente manera: Ronda I: 1. Preludio y Fuga (Bach), obra del siglo XVII al VIII (Scarlatti, Cimarosa, Couperin, Ramo, Daken, etc.) Ronda II: Ciclo polifónico de órganos (Preludio y Fuga de Bach, Fantasía y Fuga, Toccata y Fuga). No hay restricciones de edad ni de tiempo ni cuotas para la competencia. El ganador del concurso será invitado a participar en un concierto festivo dedicado al Día de toda Rusia del acordeón a botones, el acordeón y la armónica, que se llevará a cabo el 19 de marzo de 2022 en el Gran Salón de la Academia Rusa de Música de Gnessin en Moscú. .  El IV Concurso de Interpretación de estudios de acordeón “Aris del Puerto” se celebró en Ponferrada, León, España el 13 de noviembre de 2021.Este concurso es promovido por la familia de Aris del Puerto para rendirle homenaje y reconocimiento a ella, los valores educativos que transmitió y su deseo de haber aprendido a tocar el acordeón. La familia junto con el apoyo del Instituto de Estudios Bercianos (IEB) y el apoyo del Ayuntamiento de Ponferrada iniciaron este concurso en 2018. El jurado estuvo compuesto por Raúl Álvarez Martín, Daniel Bombín Val, Jesús Peñaranda Portilla, Cristina Falagán y Víctor Vigo Villar.  NOVAM (Nederlandse Organisatie Voor Accordeon en Mondharmonica) celebrará su 4º Festival de Orquesta en el Muziekcentrum van de Omroep, en Hilversum. Holanda el 27 de noviembre de 2021 de 9h a 18h.El festival está organizado por Novam Working Group Orchestras, que se ocupa de la lista de repertorio y las solicitudes de asignaciones de composición para orquestas de acordeón. El grupo de trabajo está formado por Christa Groeneveld, Tim Fletcher, Leo van Lierop y Evert van Amsterdam. Debido a que las orquestas no han podido ensayar recientemente, este año se llevará a cabo un festival adaptado, que se tratará principalmente de participar y actuar unos para otros. El programa de la jornada incluirá tres conciertos: uno por la mañana, otro por la tarde y otro por la noche. En cada programa, un número limitado de orquestas tocan su programa de 20 minutos. Pueden participar un máximo de doce a quince orquestas (dependiendo del tamaño). El festival es una invitación y un desafío para todas las orquestas que quieran volver a salir. Cada orquesta recibe un recuerdo y un informe del jurado de tres miembros independientes del jurado. Los organizadores esperan que muchas orquestas se registren para esta edición especial de 2021. | The 1st Online International Competition "Ozornye Harmoniki" (Mischievous Accordions) will be held in Grodno, Belarus during March and April 2022. The competition is organised by the "Association of Belarusian Accordionists and Accordionists of the Belarusian Union of Musical Figures". The competition aims to support the creativity of young musicians, promoting the development of their creative abilities and increasing the level of performing skills as well as the preservation and development of national traditions of performance on accordion, accordion and harmonica, the exchange of pedagogical and performing experience among teachers and students, the realization of creative potential among amateurs, the popularization of performance on accordion, accordion and harmony in the media and promoting communication between children and young people from different countries. Competition entries will be accepted from March 1st to 25th, 2022. Competition results will be announced on April 30th, 2022. Voting will then begin for the "Winner of Audience Sympathy" from May 1 to May 7, 2022. The announcement of the "Absolute Winner" and "Audience Sympathy Winner" will be announced on May 9th, 2022. The competition will include age category classes in 10 divisions as follows: Bayan, Accordion, Harmony, Ensembles, Orchestras, Solo, Ensemble , Electronic tool, Master of accompaniment, Amateur.  After an enforced absence due to the coronavirus pandemic, the Musikmesse team is raring to go again. The 2022 Musikmesse will be held in Frankfurt, Germany from April 28th to May 1st, 2022. A number of Musikmesse spin-offs will be taking place at the same time, some forming part of the supporting programme: the Musikmesse Festival (28th April to 1st May), the Musikmesse Congress (28th to 29th April), Musikmesse Education (29th April to 1st May) and the B2C event Musikmesse Plaza (30th April to 1st May). The schedule will also overlap with that of its sister event Prolight + Sound (26th to 29th April). |

 The 2022 Edinburgh Music Competition Festival will be held at St. Cuthbert’s Church in Edinburgh, Scotland from March 1st to 13th, 2022.The Festival, which includes classes for accordionists, will be launched with the first round of the Concerto Competition on January 21st and 22nd, 2022. This class is a unique and special part of the Festival, as it provides the opportunity for four finalists to perform a movement from a concerto with a full orchestral accompaniment during the final evening concert. The Festival is a friendly and supportive annual event, where amateur musicians of all ages can take to the stage alongside performers of a similar ability. It includes a programme of over 100 competitive and non-competitive classes and positively encourages musicians of all abilities to take part. The closing concert will be held at The Queen’s Hall on March 13th and will feature festival highlights such as the final of the Concerto Competition. Winners of 15-minute recital classes will be invited to perform in St Giles’ on March 27th. Entries close on November 30th, 2021. This piece was written by Cohen Braithwaite-Kilcoyne (concertina).Popular trio “Granny’s Attic” will hold an online “live” album launch at HEART (Headingley Enterprise and Arts Centre) in Leeds, England, UK on November 20th at 7.30pm. The event will include a live audience at HEART as well as the online presentation through social media.   The Christchurch Accordion Orchestra (conducted by David Thorne - picture above) have been invited to perform as guest artists at the “Christmas Bells are Ringing” outdoor concert at the St Paul’s Parish Church grounds in Christchurch on November 28th, 2021 at 5pm.Other performers include the St Alban’s Community Choir directed by accordionist Heather Gladstone QSM and the New Brighton Silver Band.
