The 19th International Festival of Accordion Soloists and the 20th Summer School for pupils and students of accordion take place in Kragujevac, Serbia, from July 5th to 14th. The festival organizers, Music Center AD LIBITUM and Kragujevac Music School, have invited winners of significant international accordion competitions in the last 12 months and teachers to this year's Summer School. This year's festival will therefore feature the following soloists, performing in the Concert Hall of Kragujevac Gymnasium: Vladislav Pligovka, Belarus – winner of Castelfidardo and CIA Coupe Mondiale competitions, 3rd picture. Segei Shmelkov, Russia - winner of competition in Shanghai, China. Dimitri Bouclier, France – winner of CMA Trophée Mondiale, 4th picture. Nikola Tanaskovic, Serbia – winner of competition in Arrasate, Spain. Alexandar Khrustevitch, Ukraine - winner of competition in Kiev, Ukraine. Klemen Leben, Slovenia - winner of competition in Klingenthal, Germany. Yuri Shishkin, Russia - teacher in the Summer School, 1st picture. Mika Väyrynen, Finland - teacher in the Summer School, 2nd picture. The festival will open on July 5th with a concert featuring the best students of the Kragujevac music schools, and closed on July 14th with a concert featuring the best participants in the Summer School. The teacher at the Summer School include Yuri Shishkin – Russia, Radomir Tomic and Vojin Vasovic – Serbia, and Mika Väyrynen – Finland.
