| The Department of Folk Instruments will hold educational projects as part of the IX International Music Academy of the Winter International Arts Festival in Sochi, Krasnodar, Russia, from February 18th to 24th, 2024. Classes at the Department of Folk Instruments are taught by major masters and professors from leading Russian music universities. The event is for young performers on Russian folk instruments from the Russian Federation, Europe and other foreign countries aged from 14 to 25 years old at the time of participation, specialising in button accordion, accordion, domra (three-string and four-string), mandolin and balalaika. Participation in Academy events (concerts, open lessons) is mandatory for those who have passed the competitive selection. Download further information at: 2024Sochi.pdf |
