 The trio Kosmos perform in concert on Friday September 25th, 7.30pm, at Sutton Valence Music Society, Sutton Valence School, North Street, Sutton Valence, Kent ME17 3HL.Kosmos are Harriet Mackenzie – violin, Meg Hamilton – viola, and Milos Milivojevic – accordion. Their programme, inspired by music from all around the globe, includes wild gypsy fiddling, emotive Jewish and Greek music glide, hot-blooded tango, alongside interpretations of Japanese, Polish and Sephardic songs, new arrangements by and for the ensemble, and with references to classical composers including Bach, Brahms and Sarasate. |
