  The Academy of Music at the University of East Sarajevo and the Association ‘New Sound’ will organize Akordeon Art 2011, the second International Festival of Bayan and Accordion in East Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, from April 27th to 30th 2011.Information for contestants may be downloaded: Sarajevo2011. The festival features concerts and lectures, and the presentation of instruments and musical accessories. Guests of the festival this year include the outstanding performers of Russia and former Soviet Union - Alexander Skliarov, Vladimir Zubitsky (picture right), and Vladislav Pligovka. The Academy of Music issues certificates of Professional Development for all accordion teachers present at festival events. |
