| The Akkordeon-Orchester Wesseling (conducted by Anita Brandtstäter) will perform at an open-air concert at Wesselinger Rheinpark on June 27th, 2021. The concert will be held at the Music pavilion to open this traditional annual concert series of the city. Their varied program will include original music for accordion orchestra such as the rock overture ''On Stage'' (by Thomas Ott), “Footprints” suite (by Hans-Günther Kölz and Matthias Anton), world hits like ''Celebration'' (by Kool & the Gang), ''Hallelujah'' b(y Leonard Cohen), the Sea-Shanty ''Wellerman'' and ''Congratulations'' (by Cliff Richard) as well as film music from ''Derrick", ''The Godfather'' and ''A Summer Place". All Covid-19 protocols will be in place as well as contact tracing measures will be taken. See poster for concert details. |
