 The 13th edition of the accordion section at the International Music Competition Val Tidone was held over the past weekend.The International Music Competitions of Val Tidone started in 1998 in Pianello Val Tidone with the objective to contribute to the development of young artists in the complex world of performing and is supported by the Foundation of Piacenza and Vigevano, as part of a program of historic, natural, artistic and gastronomic enhancement of Val Tidone, also named “pearl of the province of Piacenza”. In the Young Talents section, the accordionist Tommaso Arena, student of tutor Mario Stefano Pietrodarchi, was acclaimed winner of the competition.
