 The Confédération Internationale des Accordéonistes (CIA), a member of the International Music Council (IMC), an NGO offical partner of UNESCO, has published the official website for the 69th CIA Coupe Mondiale and 136th General Assembly in Rostov-on-Don, Russia, 11 to 17 September, 2016. This major event will be hosted by CIA member, the International Music Centre "Harmony". CIA President Raymond Bodell announced: "Russia has a renowned place in the International world of the accordion and so I am delighted that the first Coupe Mondiale in Russia is now being held in this famous accordion region." Harmony Art-Director Alexander Poeluev - "We invite all accordion players to participate in the 69th Coupe Mondiale in Rostov-on-Don. An exciting competition, unique concerts, exhibitions and many interesting events will take place during this week." The 2016 Coupe Mondiale will feature eight international categories of competition – Coupe Mondiale – Masters Coupe Mondiale – Junior Coupe Mondiale – Virtuoso Entertainment – Junior Virtuoso Entertainment – Digital – Chamber - Classical – Chamber - World Music as well as superb concerts and important meetings of the CIA Executive Committee, CIA Music Committee, the General Assembly of Delegates, where members will decide the business and future plans of the CIA.
