  CASTELFIDARDO - De viernes a domingo, el Jazz Accordion Festival regresa con un lleno total de actuaciones, capturando el ambiente primaveral y festivo que se respira en el aire. "Se trata del primer festival del año que se celebra bajo la égida y el sello de calidad del P.I.F., Premio Internacional del Acordeón, ofreciendo a todos los aficionados al acordeón y al jazz tres días de conciertos y dos sesiones JAF del más alto nivel. Un festival único que, gracias a la impronta y la investigación del director artístico Simone Zanchini, encarna la esencia natural del jazz en el movimiento del fuelle y en la experimentación que demuestra una vez más el poder sonoro del acordeón", explica el concejal Rubén Cittadini.Dos lugares, tres artistas para tres eventos con entrada gratuita que combinan originalidad, energía y elegancia. La inauguración se confía a una joven artista emergente de origen toscano, Sara Calvanelli (foto de arriba a la izquierda), en el club On Stage de via Soprani el viernes a las 21.30 horas. Un concierto inédito de jazz en solitario con una impronta femenina profundamente personal: de la tradición de los cantos antiguos a la improvisación libre, una mezcla insólita de voz, acordeón clásico y efectos electrónicos. El sábado en el Escenario On (21.30 h) actuará el trío Roberto Gervasi: Roberto Gervasi (acordeón - foto de arriba a la derecha), Davide Inguaggiato (contrabajo) y Fabrizio Giambanco (batería), protagonistas de "My Jazzy Accordion", un homenaje a gigantes como Charlie Parker, Dizzy Gillespie, Bud Powell y Frank Marocco. Para la última actuación, el domingo 19, la escena se traslada al Salone degli Stemmi para el concierto vespertino (18.00 h) del solista francés David Venitucci (foto de abajo): intérprete y compositor de gran calidad y técnica, que genera un mundo sonoro único y sorprendente.  Foto superior: Delegados del Congreso de Invierno de 2023La Confédération Internationale des Accordéonistes (CIA) celebró su 149º Congreso de Invierno de la Asamblea General de Delegados en Paks, Hungría, del 3 al 5 de marzo de 2023, al que asistieron delegados de 17 países de lugares tan lejanos como EE.UU., Corea del Sur, Rusia, Escandinavia y toda Europa. La CIA había recibido dos nominaciones para su prestigioso Premio al Mérito de la CIA, para honrar las contribuciones sobresalientes al movimiento internacional del acordeón. El Congreso votó aceptar por unanimidad a Ladislav Horák (República Checa) y Renzo Ruggieri (Italia) para los Premios al Mérito. Renzo Ruggieri, acordeonista de jazz, ha dado más de 2.000 conciertos en todo el mundo, ha participado en cientos de producciones y es reconocido como compositor, arreglista y profesor. Ha sido director artístico del PIF Castelfidardo y actualmente es director del Italia Award Festival, creado por él. Enseña acordeón de jazz en el conservatorio "Gaetano Braga" (Teramo, Italia) y sus alumnos han ganado numerosos concursos internacionales. Ladislav Horák es profesor de acordeón y subdirector del Conservatorio de Praga. Actúa como solista, intérprete de cámara y acompañado por orquestas sinfónicas y de acordeón, y ha aparecido regularmente en prestigiosos festivales de distintos países del mundo. Es director artístico del festival International Accordion Days de Praga y ha estrenado numerosas obras de compositores contemporáneos checos y extranjeros que ha grabado para emisoras de radio checas e internacionales. |

 El Museo A World of Accordions celebrará el Festival Dr. Willard Palmer en el Harrington Arts Centre de Superior, Wisconsin, EE.UU. para celebrar el Día Mundial del Acordeón (WAD). El festival se celebrará del 5 al 7 de mayo de 2023 e incluirá diversos conciertos, seminarios, exposiciones y una visita al museo. Consulte el cartel para más detalles.El primer WAD se celebró el 6 de mayo de 2009, coincidiendo con el 180º aniversario del acordeón: el 6 de mayo de 1829, fecha en que se registró la patente del acordeón. El WAD está organizado por la Confédération Internationale des Accordéonistes (CIA) y ha tenido mucho éxito, generando mucha publicidad positiva para el acordeón. | Texas Folklife ha anunciado que su 34º Concierto Anual Accordion Kings & Queens tendrá lugar el 3 de junio de 2023 de 19:00 a 22:00 horas en celebración del 100º Aniversario del Miller Outdoor Theatre en Houston, Texas. Actuarán Cedric Watson & Bijou Creole, Grupo Imagen, Alex Meixner Band y los campeones del concurso juvenil de acordeón Big Squeeze 2023 de Texas Folklife. El espectáculo se retransmitirá simultáneamente en directo a través de Facebook para el público que no pueda asistir en persona. Accordion Kings & Queens ha presentado la extraordinaria música de acordeón de Texas en el Miller Outdoor Theatre de Houston desde 1990. El evento celebra la diversidad cultural de Texas reuniendo a las comunidades en una velada de baile y música de raíces interpretada al acordeón. Accordion Kings and Queens cuenta con el apoyo del Consejo y los miembros de Texas Folklife y de la ciudad de Houston a través del Consejo Asesor del Miller Theatre.  En línea: El XIV Concurso Internacional de Bayan Acordeón "Perpetuum Mobile" se celebrará en línea en Drohobych, Ucrania, del 5 al 7 de mayo de 2023.El concurso cuenta con seis categorías para diferentes grupos de edad, diferentes estilos de música y para solistas, conjuntos y orquestas. El plazo de inscripción finaliza el 21 de abril de 2023. El objetivo del concurso en línea es popularizar el acordeón y el evento está dedicado al 70 cumpleaños de Vladimir Zubitsky. El jurado de 2023 está compuesto por Vladimir Zubitsky (Ucrania - Italia), Raymond Bodell (Gran Bretaña), Yuriy Chumak (Ucrania), Frederic Deschamps (Francia), Eduardas Gabnys (Lituania), Spodris Kacans (Letonia), Jerzy Madrawski (Polonia), Volodymyr Murza (Ucrania), Yaroslav Oleksiv (Ucrania), Igor Sayenk (Ucrania), Andriy Stashevsky (Ucrania) e Ihor Vlakh (Eslovaquia).   The 2023 Che Bandoneon International Competition is open to bandoneon players of all nationalities and at least 18 years of age by August 1st, 2022. The preliminary round will be held online. The Finals of the Competition will be held in Stowe, Vermont USA from August 8th to 20th as a part of the 2023 Stowe Tango Music Festival.  Leonardo Rojnic (picture left - Croatia-Finland), student from the Sibelius Academy, University of the Arts Helsinki, Finland, achieved a golden medal in the Virtuoso category of Instrumentalists: 18, 19 or 20 years old at the 4th Vienna International Music Competition, held online this month. The competition is designed to provide a large number of awards to exceptional musicians: recitals at the Musikverein and the Mozarthaus; cash prizes; five digital albums; and many Special Awards. At least 20 musicians will perform at the Winners’ Concerts at Musikverein and Mozarthaus in April 2023. |

 Anthony Schulz (picture right), Vice-President of the Accordion Society of Australia (National & Victorian branch) has just released his new recording “Mosaic: Music for Cello and Piano Accordion” with Rachel Scott (cello).Rachel and Anthony went into the studio in April 2022. They recorded pieces they'd been rehearsing and performing over the last few years - and 'Mosaic' was the result.  On March 18th, 2023, during the "Week of the Accordion" organized by Alessandro Mugnoz of the "Vecchi Tonelli" Conservatory in Modena, the accordion class of the Civic School Paolo Soprani di Castelfidardo will perform in a concert lesson in which they will talk about teaching, repertoire, arrangement etc. Tutor Luigino Pallotta will be joined by students Elena Merli, Michele Alessandrini, Cristian and Nicolas Chiaraluce (Fisitalia family), Emma Burini and Alessia Catena who have put a lot of effort into the preparation for this concert. | Murray Grainger will hold an Accordion Workshop in Misson, Nottinghamshire, England, UK on April 16th, 2023. Have you ever wondered how the professionals take a simple short tune of only a few bars and turn it into an exciting rich and varied piece? If so, then this course is for you! The workshop entitled “Tune development and arrangement on the accordion” will cover “how to develop tunes into a more interesting and varied arrangement. Murray will be looking at the use of ornamentation, harmonies, rhythmic elaboration and variation, as well as how the left hand can help you to take a simple tune and shape it into the arrangement you have always wanted.” All teaching materials will be provided before the day, both sheet music and audio recordings of the repertoire. A World of Accordions Museum espera dar la bienvenida a Grayson Masefield (Nueva Zelanda) a Superior, Wisconsin, EE.UU. para su concierto de recaudación de fondos el 30 de julio de 2023. El concierto tendrá lugar en la Sala de Conciertos Hanni Strahl, que es ideal desde el punto de vista acústico y tiene capacidad para 1.000 personas en los niveles de suelo y balcón. Grayson es un acordeonista nacido en Nueva Zelanda y es la primera persona en ganar Campeonatos del Mundo en las categorías de acordeón clásico, virtuoso y digital.  The CNIMA directed by Nathalie Boucheix will hold an “Adults” Accordion Workshop from March 27th to 31st, 2023, tutored by Jacques Mornet and Nathalie Boucheix (picture left).The workshop has been adapted to the specific problems that adults face with smaller class numbers. This is an ideal workshop for “beginners or to get back to the accordion as an adult in a friendly atmosphere”.
