| The 35th annual 2020 Illawarra Folk Festival began on January 16th at the Show Pavilion, Princes Highway Bulli, NSW in Australia and will run until January 20th organised by the Illawarra Folk Club. The event will include performances by international and national artists. “Jaga Band” (pictured above), which includes accordionist Tatjana Marx will entertain on January 17th. The group is an Australian fresh minded multicultural ensemble that play popular Eastern European melodies with a focus on Carpartian melodies from Ukraine, but also include Hungarian, Jewish, Slovak and Romanian songs and dances.
