  On Friday January 17th, 8pm, at l’Arsenel de Metz, France, will be the world premiere of ‘Dun.Wu’, a double concerto for accordion, piano and orchestra, composed by Chengbi An. This work will be performed by Fanny Vicens (accordion, picture right), Sae-Jung Kim (piano), and the Orchestre national de Lorraine conducted by Jacques Mercier. Fanny Vicens (born 1987) studied accordion, piano and musicology at the Perpignon Conservatory, Trossingen (Germany), Lucerne (Switzerland), and at the Sorbonne in Paris. She has performed as a soloist and chamber musician in many countries, and has worked with many ensembles in the field of contemporary music. In addition she often teaches music courses, and is currently resident at the Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris. For further information email: fanny.vicens@orange.fr |
