| Young accordionists from the Free States of Saxony, Thuringia and Bavaria, from the Czech Republic and the guest federal states of Saxony-Anhalt and Brandenburg meet annually in Klingenthal for competitions to demonstrate their skills and to gain competition experience and coveted prizes. For many participants, this is the stepping stone to participation in Klingenthal International Accordion Competitions held every May.
